Any bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a strap will be allowed in. (This includes fanny packs and cross body bags)
Any CLEAR bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” is allowed in. (Clear backpack, gallon zip lock bag, clear carry bag, clear cinch bag)

NON-APPROVED BAGS
Backpack, Binocular Case, Camera Case, Tinted Plastic Bag, Printed Pattern Plastic Bag, Purse, Seat Cushion with Pocket, Oversized Tote Bag, Diaper Bag, Mesh Bag
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PERMITTED INTO THE STADIUM:
NOTE: This is the stadium’s standard policy. The list may differ for concerts or other non-football events, so please reference the event page for the confirmed list of permitted/prohibited items.
- Clear bags that meet NFL bag policy guidelines
- Additional clothing, jackets, blankets, and small collapsible umbrellas may be carried in hand
- Keys, coins or other metal objects must be removed from your pockets and held in hand or in an approved clear bag
- Diapers and wipes may be carried in an approved clear bag (diaper bags are not permitted)
- Still-photography cameras with a lens that is 6" or less in length, binoculars and cell phones may be carried in loosely or in an approved clear bag
- One piece foam seat cushions under 18 inches wide without cover, zippers, pockets or concealable areas
- Food of any kind that is contained in an approved clear bag and for individual consumption
- Unfrozen non-alcoholic beverages in a permitted bottle no larger than 1 L / 34oz. and contained in an approved clear bag (Scroll down to the Prohibited Items to check the list of non-approved bottles)
- Plastic, transparent water bottles no larger than 1 L / 34 oz. and must be empty at screening (See “Water Dispensers/Fountains” in A-Z Fan Guide for refill locations)
- Portable phone chargers
- Electric or battery operated apparel, including but not limited to blankets, socks, coats, sweaters, etc. (Lithium-ion battery packs with a maximum size of 3" x 6" x 1")
- Lightweight, collapsible umbrella strollers
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED:
- Any bags which do not meet NFL bag policy guidelines
- Seat cushions larger than 18" wide or any seat cushion with zippers, pockets or concealable areas
- Stainless steel water bottles (e.g. Hydro flask), glass bottles, cans, frozen drinks of any type, coolers of any kind, thermoses, ice chests or any bottles larger than 1 L / 34 oz.
- Alcohol of any kind
- Banners, signs or flags that are not event related, obstruct another patron's view or larger than 18” x 24” (See “Signs/Banners” in A-Z Fan Guide for specifics)
- Large golf-sized umbrellas
- Laser pointers
- Single purpose video cameras and laptops
- Weapons (including knives), any item that may be used as a projectile
- Any animal with the exception of a service animal
- Artificial noisemakers of any kind, including but not limited to, air horns, cowbells, clappers, kazoos, whistles, etc.
- Battery Packs with AA, C or D cell batteries
- Standard size footballs
- Any other item deemed inappropriate by Stadium Management Company
An exception may be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection and approval at gate screening. In order to expedite the screening process, it is highly recommended to reach out at least 2 business days prior to the event you plan to attend. Fill out the contact us form and select “stadium policies” as reason for contact. In your response, please also include your seating section and the game/event that you’re attending.
There are no provisions to check items at the gates. Fans will be asked to either take prohibited items back to their car or to the lockers where a fee applies, or dispose of prohibited items at the gate. The Denver Broncos and the stadium are not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen, or damaged.
Lockers will be on-site
Should your personal items or bags not adhere to the NFL Bag Policy / Prohibited Items list, lockers will be on-site outside of Gate 8 near the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame wall on the east side of the stadium to provide a bag check for a fee and secure your personal items.
The Denver Broncos and Empower Field at Mile High are not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen or damaged.
